Summary

This course is synchronous with in-class large- and small-group discussion and interaction to process and apply the learning. You will complete Gallup's Clifton StrengthsFinder assessment and receive your personalized report. This is included in the registration cost.

Overview

Most of us can identify our strongest skills but knowing what you're good at is only part of the story. True strengths are more than skills and knowledge — they are the activities that energize you, invite your best thinking, and give your work deeper meaning. In an era where technology and AI are reshaping the professional landscape, what will set you apart is a clear understanding of your unique value and how to put it to work. This course uses the Clifton StrengthsFinder assessment as a framework for building that self-awareness. You'll explore how your natural talents become strengths, why context and environment matter, and how unchecked strengths can become blind spots. Whether you're early in your career, navigating a transition, or simply looking to show up more fully in your current role, this course will help you lead with intention, collaborate more effectively, and contribute at your highest level.

  • Distinguish between talents, skills, and strengths
  • Apply a strengths-based lens to their professional context
  • Recognize the risks of strengths overuse
  • Develop a plan for intentional strengths application
  • Leverage strengths as a framework for collaboration
