However, it includes 42 instructional hours, fulfilling the 35-hour education/training requirement needed to sit for the exam. To earn the certificate, learners shall register separately for, and complete, four core courses and one elective, totaling approximately 35 class hours.

The UW Certified Professional Coach certificate program is an International Coaching Federation (ICF) Level 2 program that prepares you to be an Associate Certified (ACC) or Professional Certified Coach (PCC), depending on number of client experience hours you have accrued.

This 38-hour blended certificate course with instructors Laura Saunders and Adrienne Allen is for participants wanting to learn or relearn the knowledge and skills necessary to reach Motivational Interviewing (MI) proficiency. This course is also offered in a new format with an in-person component.
